April Update

April 2017

Dear Friends,
One of the most powerful statements to me is “He is not here, but is risen…..” Luke 24:6. What a joy to move around sharing the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ and seeing the same power which took him out from the grave, bringing profound changes into the life of people!
Friends, I marvel a lot when the same transforming power brings a revelation of truth to people who are born into idolatrous family, sorcery, witchcraft etc. and other religious sects. Because in the natural it is always hard to convince these group of people who come from such background.

Friends, there is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on earth and we are beginning to see a breakthrough. I believe we are yet to see those in another ‘closed religious’ sects, idolatry, Islam etc. making a decision to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. In this Newsletter, we want to share with you the testimony of a lady who was once deep in idolatry and Islam.

Mary, is a vibrant new convert in one of our branch churches.  According to her she was a deep idols worshiper, worshipping many idols (which she named them). Besides that, she and her husband were Muslims. She is 45 years and have 6 children (including twins).
She said one day she felt very sick and strange body odor came unto her. She was advised to see the highest fetish priest who demanded a lot of things to pacify the gods. She did but to no avail. Eventually she left her home town and migrated down south with three of her children.

Her situation became worse for she could not sleep, had bad dreams and deeply tormented by evil spirits. She did not know what to do but decided not to go back. Eventually, she decided to seek for divine healing. And it was upon this that she heard one of our branch church doing an outdoor crusade. She went there, watched the Jesus film which was showing.

And after the message she went to the pastor and gave her life to Jesus. When the pastor prayed, and cast all the demons out of her all the   bad body odor disappeared and she was healed. She began to attend church regularly with her children. Recently she attended our annual convention this year. She was full of joy because she has seen the light and have become a new creation.
Please pray support us to open many churches in idolatry, Islamic and areas where there is no good news. Help us to train young and dynamic pastors to these areas.
